Okay---maybe avoiding people he knew was a better idea. At least if he didn’t want to get bombarded with random bouts of information the whole day it was best to just pack up and go.
Scratching the back of his head as he continued to wander the city, he found himself getting overwhelmingly exhausted over it all. Yeah he’d figured things had changed, but it was almost too much. He really wasn’t sure how long he was gone, and thinking on the fact maybe those he’d known weren’t simultaneously gone gave a pang of guilt. All of it combined made him utterly exhausted, despite the monthish long nap.
Looking up, he found himself by a park. Maybe he could sit down on a bench and just relax for a bit. That sounded like a good idea. Heading inside the park, he walked for a bit before he found a bench. There was someone else on it, so he did the polite thing and waved in front to get there attention.
“Hey---do you mind if I sit here?”
