Every time a D*stiel shipper uses how Cas and Dean look at each other as proof of their ship, I think of how Sam and Dean look at each other. But of course, when you mention it to the hellers, they say it’s a look of “brotherly love”. I’m sorry, I would never look at my siblings the way Sam and Dean look at each other.
And then there’s the bunch of gifs of Dean holding Sam’s face/head while he’s injured, petting his hair. And then there’s this:
Not looking at each other, but Dean’s arm is around Sam. Maybe it’s just my family but my siblings never do that, so I’d imagine other families probably don’t either.
I’d like to include the gif of Dean telling Sam “Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole” but the gif is too big for tumblr apparently. Could just get a screenshot but whatever.
There has not been as much sexual/romantic tension in the way Dean looks at Cas (and the other way around) as there is when Dean looks at Sam (again, other way around too). Will they listen to me? No. Do I still like to make fun of them for this? Yes.
I would love for others to include their own screen caps of scenes like this. Pinterest kinda sucks (I got all of these from there) so these were the best I could get. I know there’s more because they’re constantly giving each other fuck-me eyes.
