Updates to Site
Some updates are coming to the site. In an effort to streamline and manage things in a more predictable way, there will be three separate categories of products available.
The first one, Razors for Sale will become, Ready to Ship and will continue to showcase specific razors that have been refurbished and are already available.
We’ll also continue to have the Refinish Service available for customer razors to be sent for refinish and refurbish.
The last category is a new one. Razors On Demand. This category will list primarily Gillette Techs in the various color profiles. Once ordered these razors will enter the refinish queue, be finished, and then shipped. These razors will typically ship within a week of being ordered. This model will allow offering the current broad range of colors and the addition of new ones, without trying to manage creating stock that may not match immediate demand.
In other words rather than finish two Steampunk and two other razors, we can create 4 Steampunk razors, to match the orders placed.
Over time I will expand other razors such as New and Old Types. For now the model will be tested primarily with the Fat Handle Techs.

So I’ve Finally Added a Blog
It’s clear that I need a way to communicate above and beyond what my current store site is providing to me. For now, I’m going to give using Tumblr a shot. At a minimum it will allow me to publish blocks of photos and information that people may find valuable. The photos themselves are being hosted via Flickr.
