A land so still and silent by Deltalex. From a misty mountain she could see all that was; a land so still and silent, haunting her every footstep ☁️ https://flic.kr/p/2nexJ65
The ethereal path by Deltalex. 💫 31/31 Well just like that, we’ve reached the end of January. Honestly, where does time go? I woke up on the first day of 2021 with no expectation to begin a photo project and literally decided on a whim that it may be a good idea. It’s also the only month of the year I literally have down time 😂 With social media changing at a rapid pace with such a push for consistency and large amounts of ‘content’ (I hate using that word especially in relation to my photography - it’s more than that), it can be so hard to keep up with it all. So in a way it was an experiment, but I’m so glad I went ahead with it. I’ve absolutely loved discovering new accounts and seeing new accounts discover me by some off chance photographs were pushed onto people’s home feeds. In all honesty, I put so much pressure on myself to plan, create and edit photographs that I’m truly proud of and want to share. I’m not one to share consistently because of that reason. I love to shoot and then edit for days... weeks even. Making sure everything is how I want it to be. In the end, I only want to share work that I like... photographs that tell a story. This project allowed me to loosen the ‘ties’ a little and just enjoy it all a little more... experiment, see how it turns out and be in the moment on photo shoots a little more. All in all, this piece is one I’ve been working on for a little while now and was actually taken on the same day as the first photograph I posted. Full circle moment in a way... but ending with a whole different mindset. Thank you to everyone who followed along, saved, commented, liked... interacted with one post... two posts... all posts. It truly means the world that so many of you take the time to follow and support my work. I’ll see you soon with more magical work! 💫 https://flic.kr/p/2mtHK4j
Spinning top by Deltalex. I took these (see others on my instagram) right after ‘enchanted forest’ (I literally turned around and saw this beautiful opening between the trees) and as you can probably tell... got more soaked the longer I ran back and forth to my camera through the mud and spider webs. Ah well... anything to get the shot! 🍂 https://flic.kr/p/2kFi3mw
The enchanted forest by Deltalex. 3/31 There’s nothing I love more than venturing into a foggy forest and discovering an opening of light. I was absolutely drenched while taking this, but that’s half the fun right?! https://flic.kr/p/2koNJBv
