DELTARUNE - Multiplayer Mod

hey my loyal tenna-gang - i have a very cool mod i am currently developing i wanna show you!!

up to 24 players - yes, you read that right. TWENTY FOUR players - can connect to your game through your ip address and play through boss rushes, regular fights, et cetera using this mod! i still haven't come up with a good name for it but i'll think of something

you'll be able to choose between a wide selection of unique deltarune and undertale characters such as Kris, Susie, Ralsei, Noelle, Berdly, Starwalker, Tenna, Spamton, Jevil and MUCH MORE!!

i'm currently looking for artists willing to work with me on making all the different battle sprites for this mod because there's a TON of them, so if you're an artist and are willing to contribute to creating this awesome battle simulator - hit me up in my dms :p

currently, the plan is to make only the dojo accessible, with a ton of vanilla enemies from all chapters, arranged into all sorts of difficult layouts, such as three knights, three gersons or even THREE WATERCOOLERS!! (ha, you're surely screaming from fear after that last one!)

i'll keep you guys updated on my blog, but i also have a discord server where i post news and behind the scenes code stuff every few hours and guess what?! YOU'RE INVITED! anyway, thank you for reading this quite long post, i'm gonna go work on the mod some more.

Game Mod: Hat Ralsei in Ch 1-2

Somebody already did a Ch 2 Hat Ralsei mod, but I felt like porting it to the paid Ch 2 (the original mod was just on the demo version). I also made some tweaks at the same time. I added some sprites that were missing (such as Butler Ralsei and a modded Thrash Machine), tweaked pre-existing sprites to make them more consistent, fixed any errors I found, and made a few very, very small changes to game text where relevent (such as Susie commenting on Ralsei not wearing a hat).

I thought I'd throw in a quick Ch 1 mod along with it, too. It's obviously a very small change, just edits the final scene so that Ralsei keeps his hat on. This mod is in case you desire a fully cohesive experience, starting from Ch 1 all the way to Ch 3 with Hat Ralsei.

Ok so apparently it's already been a year since Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 have released! Crazy . . .

Guess I should plug my Hat Ralsei mods for those chapters since I basically never plug my own stuff.

REMOTERune (multiplayer mod) - Update Post 2

WELCOME YET AGAIN, MY TENNA-LINGS!!!

Exciting update today, I finally managed to (basically) finalize the UI for one of the key features of REMOTERune - Game Modifiers!

...what? What do you mean, you don't know what that means? It's simple! Before a battle begins, the host of the game will be able to toggle Game Modifiers from the menu I attached below, which will shake up the gameplay in order to make the game less boring and give it more replayability. They will range from a simple health multiplier to entirely new, never-before seen mechanics. I've gotten multiple suggestions for Modifier ideas in both my DMs and the DELTAModders Discord, so I better get to implementing them all!

Anyway, here's the UI! Pretty proud of it, I think it looks dang awesome. Let me know what YOU think!

The Hat Ralsei Game Mod Collection

I'd like to present my pride and joy, the Hat Ralsei collection. These are mods for version 1.04 for the Steam versions of the game. (If you need to downgrade to v1.04 you may find a downgrade here.) They strive to bring the Ralsei we see throughout 99% of Chapter 1 to the rest of the game.

Chapter 1 Hat Ralsei

A very small mod that changes the final scene so that Ralsei does not remove his hat. Mostly done so that your experience is consistent with the other modded chapters!

Chapter 2 Hat Ralsei

Most of this mod was actually done by another user (see link), but I brought it to the current version of Ch 2, added missing sprites, tweaked existing ones to be more consistent, etc.

Chapter 3 Hat Ralsei

This mod and all mods going forward provide two versions, one that has pink-horned Ralsei, and one that has black-horned Ralsei. Choose whatever headcanon you prefer. Ralsei removes his signature hat to wear other hats/mohawks with some costumes, but retains his black fur and extra-fluffy appearance.

Chapter 4 Hat Ralsei

This one is finally out now too!

Each of these mods are focused on being reskins. The only other changes are occasional minor edits to dialogue that relates directly to Ralsei's hat or face, which sometimes needed to be changed to be consistent with hat Ralsei.

Finally, it should be noted that this project is not meant to throw any shade at vanilla Ralsei; it's simply for those of us who want to further enjoy his adorable hatted design.

Game Mod: Hat Ralsei in Ch 3

I've been working on this for the past three months, and I think it's now ready for the public.

This is Hat Ralsei in Chapter 3. It uses sprites from Ch 1 and lots of custom-made sprites, to fully replace hatless Ralsei. For outfits that Ralsei wears that lack his signature hat, he still retains his original black fur and extra fluffy appearance.

It uses Delta Patcher so you'll need to get Delta Patcher to use the patch.

Extra info behind cut

There is 1 known minor bug that affects the Goulden Sam cage (Ralsei won't always go behind the cage) but otherwise it should be good!

This is strictly a reskin mod, and the only text that has been changed pertains to a piece of conversation about Ralsei's face (since the vanilla text wouldn't make much sense with hat Ralsei). Specifically the 'seen it before' portion of a conversation.

This is my very first mod! I worked very hard on it and learned a lot, and did my best to uphold a high quality standard for it. I really love Hat Ralsei's design and it brings me a lot of joy to have him in the new chapters.

This multiplayer mod looks interesting, so now I’m curious about what other features it could have.

Do you plan to add any alternate skins for the characters? What kinds of different movesets will the extra characters have? I noticed you mentioned you were implementing Berdly, which is something I happen to be very interested in seeing. If there were alt skins, I imagine the Rudinn that you just implemented could have a skin to become Rudinn Ranger! Also there could be a fem skin for Berdly :)

Ok so like obviously I’m kinda obsessing over my favorite character a bit, and I am sorry about that, but even outside of that I really do think this project looks super cool so I mostly just wanted to send in some encouragement!!!

Thank you very much for your encouragement!!! Currently, there aren't any alt skins implemented for any of the characters but thats definitely something i could look into adding into the mod. (If i end up adding them i'll include a femboy Berdly for you as a thank-you for the suggestion :p)

I will for sure add some of the main characters including Berdly, Lancer, etc... as well as some side characters like the Watercooler, Tenna, Spamton.

For movesets, each of the characters will have the default fight, spell, item, spare and defend buttons. They will all share an ACT spell (like Susie's S-Action and Ralsei's R-Action) and they'll also have like two or three spells unique to them, which do different things based on the character's class (DPS, Tank, Healer, etc.)

Does anyone know if there's a steam mod for Deltarune Chapter 3 to make the timers on the Quizzes during the boards longer? I'm going to be streaming the game for some friends and I want to make sure we have time for them to read the answers.
