“Rayquaza...” Darkrai was actually surprised to see the other legendary. “Noone ever visits me... is there something you need?” Darkrai cocked his head, floating in the center of the clearing on his island. Honestly, with how often his fellow legends visited him, Darkrai was often under the belief that they too bought into the human legends. That he was dangerous and evil and brought nightmares for his own amusement.

“Your siblings aren’t causing trouble again... are they? No cataclysmic event about to happen... again?” Darkrai recalled his conversation with the Hoenn Champion Steven Stone and what it revealed. He hoped that nothing else was happening there, that region seemed to have suffered enough at this point.

A week? I see. Very well then, my darling; however, I would not deny if, either during or after such a week, if you were to like to expand such a romantic companionship for longer, as my love and adoration of you is too great for words to describe.

A pause for that all to sink in. An even longer pause for it make sense.

Thus, I propose a temporary truce... at least until I find this New Invader, grab him by the throat, and tear him limb from limb."

A temporary truce? Well... it was certainly better than no truce at all. It seems Rayquaza’s gotten better, too, so that’s a plus. Shouldn’t be too much of a problem to deal with the other Deoxys, now. At least..

That’s what he hopes.

While it’s temporary, it’s at the very least a step forward in the right direction, and Deoxys would meekly nod before scratching his chest, the area around his orb.

“ Yeah.. that sounds good, Rayquaza. Not like I got reason to anger you when you’re offering me refuge from that... thing.”

“ I... haven’t received any connections to it recently. Ancient’s been nice and quiet, I think he’s aware that I’m hiding here, and so he’s trying to lay low so YOU can’t find him. “
