From October 16, 2013 until April 1, 2014 the Museum of Art and Design in New York will feature various Dutch designers and studios in the exhibition Out of Hand: Materializing the Postdigital, which explores the many areas of 21st-century creativity made possible by advanced methods of computer-assisted production known as digital fabrication. Including ByAMT (Alissia Melka-Teichroew), Demakersvan, Formnation (Jan Habraken), Joris Laarman, Lucas Maassen, Marloes ten Bhömer, Unfold (Claire Warnier and Dries Verbruggen), Daan van den Berg, and Dirk Vander Kooij. In addition Shapeways is partnering with MAD for the exhibition and will host Out of Hands / Hands on, an educational and interactive space on the Museum's second floor where visitors will be able to experience 3D design and printing firsthand. http://bit.ly/19DpL0a
