i posted this in the top server on discord but i wanna post it here too cause it’s a fun realization

east is the compass direction where the banditos live. in truce the main lyric is “the sun will rise and we will try again”

the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. in city walls there’s “and now the night has fallen, abandoned by the sun.”

the father east you go the more vivid the sunrises are, however, the further west you go the more vivid the sunsets are. in dema you cannot see the sun rise, only see it set. in the wilderness of trench you can see the sun rise and fall.

in trench there’s a balance, you can appreciate the rise of the sun and the beauty of the sunset, knowing you’ll be alive to see it rise again in the morning. in the city you only see the sun abandon you, unknown to whether or not you’ll see it again by the time it peeks over the walls.
