Yesterday Papi mailed me this “rock” he found under his bed.
It turned out it was a fossil.
I was really happy until Blathers analyzed it.

I hate to walk away from someone’s dreamie, but I’m not taking her. I’m sorry, but 1) I’m not a fan of Judy, 2) I already have two other snooty villagers, and 3) there’s no one in DeMayo right now I’m willing to let her replace.
Nintendo for the love of Miyamoto please let visiting players adopt campsite villagers! This is just a waste of a blessing from RNGesus.
I started using MeteoNook a couple of days ago (many thanks to Ninji and their coding prowess) and I finally found my game’s seed yesterday. This is what comes up:

I thought I was freaking crazy because I was the only person I knew who had NOT experienced a meteor/heavy shower yet. I thought I might have missed them, even though I’ve been playing daily since the game was released. Turns out my seed programmed the lack of heavy showers.
There were showers in January and February that I missed for obvious reasons. I get one more in August. One. And then I have to wait until next February for the next one. -_-
I don’t know how people can stand hunting for villagers for long periods of time. Poppy left yesterday and this morning I decided to spend my surplus of points on tickets and try hunting for one of my “top tier” villagers. Found Sherb on island #16 (no idea how I lucked out there) but I was sick of hunting by island #10.
Y’all have a level of patience I can only hope to obtain.
