okay, it’s a friendship for the ages. honestly when magnus first met will, he didn’t think they would be friends & yes he was extremely interested in him bc of his looks & YES HE HAD UNREQUITED FEELINGS FOR WILL OKAY AND PROBABLY ALWAYS WILL. fite me on it. but will is one of the very few ppl that magnus would quite literally give his life for if it came down to it. tessa, raphael & alec would be on that list and that’s about it, to be honest. there’s a bond there that goes without even mentioning, a part of each of them that lights up every single time they see each other. even if they go years without speaking magnus can’t ever truly go without seeing him. again, if i get started on headcanons, it’s even sadder. magnus felt that he didn’t want to interrupt the life he had with tessa & yes, those feelings he had toward him didn’t help. it wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to see, but knowing they were both happy & in love with each other made it easier for magnus. but i have this headcanon that magnus secretly visits, without either of them knowing and watches them from a distance. a happy family, playing with children, kissing and being in love. even if he knows that he is welcomed and knows that tessa and will care about him, he feels like most times he needs to keep his distance. i bet he even has these little secret visits AT leAST once a month. popping in, making sure they are alright. it is by far one of my favorite magnus friendships & half of it bc of the whole one has feelings for the other while the other is all ‘hey bRO. wazzup’ and all that jazz while magnus just has heart eyes. probably the main reason if not the only reason camille ever brought him up in tmi. which goes to show that will herondale will always have an affect on magnus, no matter how much time passes.

the feels took over, so this might not even make sense, but the gist? will = amazing & one of magnus’ #1′s.

❛ do you happen to know where the nearest florist is? I found an empty vase that I’d like to fill. ❜  preferably with violets and the like, she supposed, but any flower would do. she had been here long enough now that her room should feel as her own, but considering how little she had brought with her from Wales, it was still bare.
