She can feel the point of the knife against her skin. There is no struggle, no determined tug. She knows she's stronger than him -- he's faster, more cunning, but she was built for brute force. All it would take would be an elbow to his back and he'd go down like a sack of bricks.

A world torn asunder. It was still hard for the woman to fathom, as she wandered the darkened wasteland that had likely once been teaming with life. There was life there still, but of a different and much less natural sort. It reminded her of those who were forgotten---- they had a degree of animation but it was not the same as being alive.
A presence came to her attention, and the proclaimed-goddess glanced in it's direction, not bothering to squint past the tangible darkness in order to make it out. It mattered little; if it moved in this place, she doubted it was human. These creatures should have been dead by her figurings, but still they moved and refused to listen to Death's command. She kept her guard up.

The white walled castle reminded him a little too much of the spaceship that he had been imprisoned in. It was cold, and there was no life or color to the place. It made him feel empty and small, and he often second guessed his decision to stay.
But he still stuck around. He could put up with the chilling similarities if it meant he could get Lilo back. And besides, this place wasn't all bad! The Organization members were pretty amusing, and he wasn't under arrest. And a huge fridge he could raid whenever he wanted!
Which is exactly what he was doing when the Nobody walked in. Whoops, busted.
