There are lava lamps? I thought they were just fictional things that appear on t-shirts and the like. I thought they were always "made of fantasy" or something like that.
In any case, they're just blobs of silicone with dye in them. I imagine they're pretty safe? They don't get absorbed into the body, nor do they have very nasty solvents or poisons. They're not food though.
If they were food, I'd imagine I could eat them. I've eaten lava cake before, it was basically just batter. It had a nice texture and I enjoyed it.

i don't really play mine craft but the few times i have i have mostly just 1) filled my inventory with flowers and 2) made small under ground rooms to furnish in creative mode before getting bored and quitting the game. so realistically i myself would not be in rsmp but the idea is really fucking funny and i respect your dedication to it
