Five headcanons about mortal!Calypso:

She’s insanely crafty and practical, good with her hands, yet when it comes to technology she has never seemed to get quite the hang of it, so her knowledge/use of her devices, such as her phone or computer, is borderline basic.

Despite being an introvert, and sometimes not very comfortable around crowds, Calypso just has a gift with people. She’s kind-hearted and great working with and for others.

She starts volunteering as soon as it’s available for her and she fills out her required hours in no time– and continues to volunteer, mostly at nursing homes and eventually decides she wants to study to be a nurse.

Her family is a tad dysfunctional and they’re upper/middle class– Calypso attends a boarding school and rarely sees her father, if ever. She has some half-siblings, but her parents have made it clear they’re not keen on the idea of her interacting with them. Her mother is no longer part of her nuclear family ( re-marrying her first husband after Calypso’s birth ), but has shown availability and support towards her, which she is grateful for. 

She joins her school’s ecology club, as well as gardening, and takes on culinary courses. The girl eventually joins her school’s student council and proposes several initiatives to raise environmental awareness.

Thalia’s extremely proud of being the lieutenant of Artemis. Even if she didn’t exactly have a choice, she still feels that this is something that she did herself and has earned.

♓: my muse’s biggest secret

Thalia’s biggest secret is probably her past. She’s never told anyone about what happened in Beryl’s house and doesn’t plan on it. She’s pretty much locked those memories away in the back of her head so she doesn’t have to think about it.
