This one's sold out now. Big thanks if you bought a copy. The whole idea behind the tape was to release something in physical form only. There wasn't a download option and it was not put up to stream (and won't ever be).
I've also deleted the master recording so it's off into the ether.
(Verbatim Books might have a couple copies now that I think of it. So head over there and ask at the counter.)
Oh, if you own a copy of this please, please do not digitize it and put it online.
Background is it came out at the end of March as a small batch of 100 tapes with two color variants (smeared gold and whatever that nice matte white is). Matty Terrones and Demetrius Antuña played accompaniment to my reading on four of the six tracks when it was recorded live at Verbatim Books in December of 2021. (The inside of the j-card is a mini version of the Jurassic Park themed show poster designed by Elizabeth Thompson.)
The recording (done by Matty) is a documentation of a quiet night in San Diego just as things were opening up after the worst of the pandemic. We wore masks when we performed. So did the audience and bookstore crew. It was very much of that era. (A week later I was sick with Covid.)
Not everything needs to be available everywhere and forever.
This is not something I plan to do again, but it's refreshing to have a release that just goes away for good.
