I may or may not be passing in and out of conciousness, but stubbornly refusing to go to sleep

Tell me a Tale of Blood and Tears || Maahes and Enyo
No one knew anything. They could act like they did, but no one really knew. She turned, looking around for something to break, but came up short, instead flinging her head back and letting out a scream that spoke of the helplessness, the frustration, the terror, the rage, and the myriad of other emotions coursing through her. She’d just been looking for a distraction from this, from all of this. Was that too much to ask?
There was no one here to distract her. She didn't have to put on a brave face for the young ones, and none of the older generation was there to help ground her. She was finally alone. She didn't have to pretend to be strong anymore.
She didn't have to be Enyo, goddess of bloodshed and the destruction of cities.
She didn't have to be Enyo, generation one war goddess.
She didn't have to be Enyo, triplet sister of Ares, the one who went insane with bloodlust on the battle field and killed any and all who crossed her path.
She didn't have to be any of that.
She could just be Enyo, Ares' baby sister, the one who'd looked up to him all her life.
She could just be the little sister that had lost her older brother.
