Make Your Own OC Month #4: Demitoran

This month’s theme is provided by @demitsorou​.

All next month - starting today, December the 19th and ending January the 19th, - we are accepting Demitoran asks, headcanons and, what is more important, OCs.

First of all, who are the Demitoran?

The Demitoran are a subspiecies of Matoran that were created artificially by Karzahni in his attempt to fix the diminished Matoran. Karzahni tried to forcefully transform them with a Toa Energy, which led to creation of subspecies that are not Matoran anymore, but not exactly Toa. More like, stuck between the two states.

All Demitoran have their Elemental Powers unsealed, but these Powers work in a distorted way, offering but a fraction of actual power and instead manifesting as significantly more powerful - compared to the Matoran - passives.

Also due to involuntary infusion of Toa Energy it did not spread evenly, creating some distortions and assymmetries in Demitoran bodies. The type and strength of distortion varies.

Please take following bulletpoints into consideration while making your OC Demitoran:

Since Demitoran were originally sent to Karzahni, your OC is ought to have some story of an origin: where did they come from, what did they do to be sent to Karzahni, all of that.

Since all Demitoran have some sort of distortion, your OC also should have something. A good example of a body distortion is @themugbearer‘s OC Crash, a Demitoran of Stone, who had oversized arms and almost obnoxiously big hands. Other example is Mugbearer’s OC Po-Demitoran Taaso, who has a pigmentation defect that makes his skin to have both dark and light pigments, which is made in a pattern that almost splits his body into a dark and light halfves, and also affects his optics' color in the same fashion.

All Demitoran are capable of using the Noble Kanohi Masks, and Karzahni have forged custom Kanohi for them to wear that atone or oppose their misdemeanor by adding a nasty passive side-effect. Keep in mind that some Demitoran have arrived at Karzahni after its previous ruler died, so their Noble Kanohi don’t have those side-effects.
