Today’s Flickr photo with the most hits were taken at the souk in Demnate, Morocco. It was the Bedford that scored the hits, really, but it needed a context.

Demnate sits at the foot of the Atlas range, about 110km east of Marrakech.  It has large deposits of clay - hence the pottery manufacture - and a thriving weaving tradition.
