Women’s Clothes, WTF: Manual Labor Edition
-Women's work boots are shit. Not only is the typical size issue there, but they wear out fast. I don’t need lightweight trail boots. I need heavyweight construction boots that don’t have soles that feel like lead. IDGAF what they look like. They need to be comfortable and work.
-General selection of women's work socks is....horrible. I’m not in an office. I need thick cotton cut to mid-calf. Sheer, no-peek slip on socks will not help me. They will give me blisters and destroy my feet. Likewise with pantyhose, the paper thin ankle cut ones, and also the cute but impractical frilly ones(that are also super thin).
-I.....why? Why are brand who sell awesome, fantastic men's work pants incapable of offering the same thing in cuts for people without external genitalia? And why are your less diverse, less functional pants more expensive??? I already wear the mens, but they chafe because -newsflash- ya’ll put a bit to much room in the crotch and not enough in the ass for differently figured bodies.
-Hold up...just. One second. I know that you have work shirts that are loose and comfortable and not sheer and thin. Why is everything so thin??? Why???
-No, (insert brand name of your choice), a lacy camisole is not an acceptable undershirt. It will chafe and give you heat rash.
-I, in no way, need to display cleavage when working in an area with insulation. Or drywall, or particle board, or any number of things. These particles will seek cleavage out. I am convinced they are sentient and love nothing more than lingering in nostrils, nailbeds, waistbands and under boobs.
-Side note, somebody should make some sort of extreme beauty cream or fucking spray on shield because these things are hell on skin.
-I’m upset at your prices. I just....I have no idea why you think I will buy a product that is less and have it cost me more.
-You told me this bra was breathable and sweat slicking. You lied.
