there's this one country i play on democracy 4 and i can't get people to vote for me even though i literally fix all their problems regarding lack of individual liberties, economic inequality AND terrorism problem that has existed for like 50 years

i give them rights and improve democracy and equality. i even decreased the crime rate to 0%. i either lose to the opposition or religious extremists assasinate me

i try to do social engineering and get people to become more liberal so i can spend less on military and police and allocate those resources to education and healthcare, while increasing secularity everywhere so i can make policies that increase gender equality and queer rights

i have a love-hate relationship with that game right now and I'M PISSED fr

I don't know what setting Gay Marriage to "maximum" means, but I'm not gonna let that stop me.

I love political strategy games. I'm playing the USA and everyone loved me when I turned the country into a teocracy and banned women from driving and made health care non-existent and I ruled for years and years but then I decided to stop fixing the roads because I needed to save money and suddenly I'm the worst ever. Very realistic.

I forgot to add that I drove the country into the worst debt ever and unemployment is at its worse and everyone still loved me. BUT THE ROADS!!!
