Things had gone so downhill, so fast. An attempt to take back the town from Harry, Lexie, Campbell and the guard had gone horribly wrong, and now some people were hurt, some were dead, and Helena was running out of options. Even with her gun, she wasn’t sure she could handle this on her own.
“Verrier?” She called, wondering if he’d show up. This was her first time summoning him in the real world. “I could really use your help.”

“Verrier? I think I might need your help.” She said as she stood in her dreamscape, wondering what would happen if she called to him in the waking world. Things were going even more downhill than they already had when the coup was first staged and, though she didn’t know if he could actually do anything to help, she needed his guidance.

This was a bad idea, Helena knew it. But she was curious. would he actually come if she called, or was he just toying with her? It wouldn’t surprise her if he was just toying with her.
Well, she supposed there was only one way to find out for sure. Swallowing, she took a deep breath. And then,
“Verrier?”

'You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.' I have to wonder how many men were caught looking at their neighbors' male servants to have to specifically write that one down."

Helena laughed at Verrier’s words, nodding in agreement. This was quickly becoming her favorite time of the night, talking with him in her dreamscape. “It is kind of strange to think about, huh?” She asked. “I mean, you have to wonder, who even came up with these rules anyway? Like, how did they decide who wrote what down or what applied?”

Honestly, he’d probably show up in her nightmares like a full fledged, albeit stereotypical demon. Fire and brimstone, sharp horns, tail, fangs, claws. It would not be a fun time for Helena to see.
