In anticipation of the Nightbringer release, I’ve been binging Devil’s Way but also redrawing my Demon!Cayrie - the last rendition of her was very unhinged and I wanted a more put-together feel for her as an Attendant. We’re also sans pact marks.
I like to imagine that the Celestial aspect of her triune nature isn’t something easily subdued - hence the white-ish feathered wings coming through here. The MC is never fully one thing over the other, no matter what form they take, and I like that to be reflected in my demon form design.
It’s rumored that they’re going to have our Nightbringer MC forget who we are...but like, those of us who’ve played from the beginning aren’t really going to be able to do that?
And I like the angst that would come with a MC who remembers while having to pretend that they don’t - and if we don’t get that, that’s okay. That’s what imagination is for!
