i wanna talk about c!billzo bc i feel like his character has a lot of potential and i haven’t heard anyone talk about this stream (prefacing this by saying this is 100% fanon/my own hcs)

so using @bird-wells214 ‘s chat/communicator concept, we can interpret this scene as eryn calling or facetiming billzo and updating him on his life in his new home in the smp. i like to imagine that bill is demon just like eryn (and possibly tommy) which is probably the native species of wherever they are originally from aka the midlands lol. demons like to purposefully stir the pot and cause problems, which explains a lot of their actions. they have lower empathy levels for other species on the smp, which can explain moments where they may not “”take the lore seriously””. they have a natural instinct to steal/grief , which can be seen in this clip when bill encourages eryn to break punz’s chests

judging from this stream, the events of the dsmp/l’manburg are widespread across the greater universe, but not much detail is really known (this idea can also be seen in michael mcchill’s lore so far, and could possibly link to how in the lost city of mizu history seems to be poorly documented or misinterpreted). billzo likely only knows about wilbur through what he’s heard from tommy

if anyone has any more ideas about this pls comment lmao 😭 im getting attached to a character that literally does not exist and slurping up every crumb i can find

Ok Random but i was just letting my mind wander and it came up with this because i'm in love with demon!Tommy except he's not a big cool demon and he's really shy about it.

(Also when i say i just came up with this i really mean i just let my brain flow so it probably won't make a lot of sense or be that well thought out but whatever)

(To clear things up in this Au Wilbur is Phils actual son, he found Tommy and Techno so sbi is mostly canon)

-So this starts when tommy is like 11-12 and he finds this funky looking mushroom among Phil's stuff from his latest trip, it smells really sweet and he asks Phil if he can eat it.

-So Phil isn't really paying attention he's probably talking to favourite child technoblade and tells him yeah without thinking, Tommy gets about half way through the Mushroom before Wilbur realised what he's doing and is like "hey tommy, toms spit that out ok?"

-Phil and Tommy are a bit confused (Phil didn't know what tommy had been eating and Tommy didn't know what it was either) and Wilbur basically explains that's a wharves mushroom, it can have really crazy side effects

-for the next week Tommy is really ill and he assumes this is the side effects after all what could be worse than spending most of his time feverish in bed or doubled over at the toilet.

-when his sickness dies down everyone kinda assumes he's gonna be okay, he only ate half of it after all, that's until Wilbur goes to ruffle tommy's head one day and hits something hard,,,,,

-Tommy jokes it's probably gum and wilbur gets worried tommy stuck his gum in his hair (again) but when he looks it's definitely not gum come to think of it it almost looks like- no surely not.

-But alas wilburs concerns where right because over the next month tommy had continuous headaches and eventually a small pair of horns popped over tommy's hair though they only had around an inch and a half of height over his hair.

-by the time tommy was 15 and leaving for the dream smp he had a small red tail with one of this pointy motherfuckers at the end of it and his little horns- he wasn't gonna lie he kinda hated them.

-he didn't hate having them, no he looked like a demon and it would add to his reputation if they weren't so,,,,, pathetic

-it didn't make it better when bbh came with his long tail, and night black skin,in all of his 9'6 glory tommy felt, pathetic. Sure tommy had grown a lot around the time the demonic traits began to come in but he was still a normal human height.

-he started hiding the horns his hair tended to grow bigger when he didn't cut it which made it pretty easy to cover, the tail was harder but he found just keeping it tucked in and learning to contain it's embarrassing wagging and need to perk up when he got excited.

-Tommy kept his secret up until around wilbur came when he slipped straight into pulling at tommy tail and ruffling his hair, and tommy was basically forced into showing it off.

-Sam finds Tommy's tail wagging and perking up or slouching down adorable and before he got brainwashed by the egg bad was actually quick to make sure tommy knew he was still very cool

idk how to finish this and i'm definitely not processing half of what i'm writing right now so i apologise if this doesn't make sense,

Hmmm, I never really thought about either. But sure, I can try!

I think I'm gonna go with demon Tommy

He has the little red horns and pointy tail you see people draw him with, but also a pair of fiery-looking wings. After all, he does come from the Nether, so it's not a surprise that he would have some elements of it still with him

Much like other Nether folks, he's fire-resistant. But, much like Ranboo, water actually harms him, especially if it lands on his wings. He has to be really careful when it rains, often having to make sure a bunch of times that his wings are perfectly covered before going anywhere

He also has to make his own clothes because of the wings. He treats them with a concoction he obtains from magma cream to make them fire-resistant since the ones you buy normally aren't. He's done the same before for Sapnap and Bad as well who have similar issues despite not actually having wings

But possibly my biggest headcanon for demon Tommy: he joins the Badlands group instead of the L'Maburg one. Coming from the Nether he bonded over being a sort of outcast from his species with both Bad and Sapnap and was sort of taken in by them. This is an excuse to pitch Badlands Tommy, yes

I mean, with demon Tommy it was already bound to be an AU anyway...

OK so. Clingy duo as demon/angel. Which version do you prefer?

Angel Tommy and Demon Tubbo with its reversal of expectation or or Demon Tommy who got kicked out of hell for being too soft and angel Tubbo who got kicked out of heaven for... Well there's a lot of possibilities but I'd assume something like mass homicide?

What combination do you think is superior?

I like both...

But... maybe I like the second one slightly more.

Having both of them be told who they were supposed to be from birth, but then failing to meet those expectations. Tommy too empathetic to kill and Tubbo too paranoid to leave violence aside when feeling threatened (even when no threat was there).

I feel like it fits them more and also the whole "defying expectations set on you by your society of origin" appeals to me quite a bit. Having been given a certain role but refusing or being unable to conform to it.

In this case both of them didn't actually choose not to conform, they were simply unable to. In which case you can end up with themes of how society doesn't really try to accommodate for those who need it. Though it would be in a vague way.

Also I just like the idea of soft demon Tommy and feral angel Tubbo. It fits their aesthetics...
