a limo pulls up to her work just as she's getting out of the office. the doorman is clearly part of the family and dressed in his best uniform as he opens the door for her. inside the limo is full of her favourite flowers and some champagne. attached to it is a note "I'm sorry I can't be here to meet you, but I thought you might appreciate all the buzz about who might have set this up. if you wish you may go home and change first before we see each other xoxo Julien"
She wasn’t quite sure what she expected from him, but this was the level of dramatics and extra she was expecting. Don’t you think for one second she doesn’t love all of this, and isn’t going to casually slide in and thank the doorman, she loves it when family members enable them to be fabulously extra and dramatic like this. You better bet she’s going to ask to go home and quickly change and freshen herself up, adding to her makeup to make it more valentines day friendly before grabbing her own gift for him and heading back downstairs to be taken to the final destination.
And of course, Julien is getting a loving text or 50 excitedly proclaiming her love for the gift and him. She’s so exited.

Evangeline looked up, half expecting one of the interns or something from her boss, but instead, there was Julian. It wasn’t the fact that he’d just walked right into a government office that threw her off, she already knew how he did that, it was more of the fact that he was there in the first place. She would have questioned that too, had the look in his expression not been even more concerning. “Close the door, what’s the matter?” she pushed her paperwork aside as she spoke.

He is flattered, but also caught off guard; he wasn’t expecting this. Hell, his only plan for the day/night had been visiting his provinces and grandchildren and smothering them all in love regardless of if they want it or not because he can claim birthday rights to a massive hug.

7. Yes, I do. They’re a fucking nerd, but overall they’re nice to me. The worst thing they’ve done is take my fucking left arm away because they just wanted too- But yeah, I like them. I mean, they’re the reason I’m with Julien. If they never suggested our muns interact on this block, I doubt I would’ve met him. So I’m grateful.
8. That they love me so much. And they listen to me! They don’t force me to do anything I dont like, but they will let me know when I’m going to far and they think it’l be actually bad and not just progressing plot bad. But they’re good.

The Civil War, It was one thing to have an outside force to fight against in the past, though he was terrified at that, it’s another when suddenly he doesn’t even know if he has little to no control over his own body.
If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?
In a way, both. While he tries so hard to find an outside source for things, he can’t help but feel like he deserved what ever get got. Even if it does have nothing to do with him.
