“Bubby.” Harold didn’t turn to look at xem, but heard Bubby giggle. “Stop it.” 

“Awww but I wanna cuddle, Harold, come on!” Bubby grinned, wrapping xyr arms around Harold, who sighed, leaning back against xem. 

“I know, I know, but quit touching me, your feet are cold.” Harold turned it’s head just a bit to look back at Bubby, who was grinning, unrepentant, then tucked xyr head against Harold’s back. Harold huffed softly, settling back down to cuddle properly, holding onto one of Bubby’s arms, which Bubby had wrapped around it’s waist. 

For a moment, Harold thought that it was safe. That Bubby would actually stop. 

“BUBBY!” 

Bubby laughed aloud, rolling away quickly before Harold could reach back and smack at xem, accidentally rolling off the bed completely. Harold sat up, leaning over the edge to stare down at Bubby, who was shaking in now silent laughter. 

“Your feet are colder than mine, and mine are metal, how do you manage this?” 

There was no reply, as Bubby curled into a ball, still shaking in silent laughter. 

Harold huffed, dropping a pillow onto Bubby’s head and settled down in bed again. “You don’t get to come back up here.” 

“Nooooo Harold.” Bubby giggled, sitting up to peek over the edge of the bed at it. “Please, I love you...” 

“Stop touching me with your cold ass feet then.” Harold glanced back at xem, who was still grinning completely unrepentant. “Only if you promise me.” 

“I promise! I’ll stop, let me back up.” 

“Fine...” Harold shifted back a bit, letting Bubby crawl back up into bed, and Bubby grinned, pillow clutched in xyr arms, settling there, leaning over pursing xyr lips at Harold. For a moment, Harold stared at xem, but sighed, then leaned over and kissed Bubby gently, and Bubby grinned at it, wrapping xyr arms around Harold’s chest. 

Harold smiled softly, wrapping its arms around Bubby in return, settling back down to finally get some-

“JESUS CHRIST-” 

Bubby’s laughter followed xem back to the floor.

This is pretty fun actually, it helps me figure out more of his lore! :D theres is quite a bit so I'll put an undercut!

1. How easy is it to make them angry? Do they show or hide it?

Cove is an angry thing all around, but he's really good at hiding it!! Until it boils over and he practically explodes...

2. Do they believe in soulmates?

Not anymore...

3. Do they have any pet peeves?

He seriously hates having to repeat himself, especially since he doesn't talk much anyways.

He does have a happy place somewhere deep in the ocean

In his head, he likes to imagine being out in a wheat field while the sun sets. Pretty cheesy huh?

5. At what stage of their life were they the happiest?

Probably in his teens when he found someone who he thought was a soulmate...

6. What stage of their life were they the least happiest?

From his teens all the way up until now.

7. At a bar/tavern/pub are they more likely to buy someone a drink, or have someone buy them a drink?

Cove would 100% buy someone a drink.

8. Have they ever broken any bones? If so, how?

He did have his arm broken at one point!! He had gotten into a fight with a sailor out in sea.

Also, if you count his tail being eaten by a shark then yeah, that happened.

9. Do they have any memories/experiences they'd rather forget?

Most definitely! Some including loved ones, others include him making really, really bad decisions.

10. What is their favourite memory from their childhood?

When his mum got him the raincoat/cloak, and wellies!

He'd wear it everyday up until know, even if it's a little small. Though he had to replace the wellies growing up because obviously you grow out of shoes

Thank you, my favorite little pumpkin, for giving me an excuse to draw my otp. The dads of Dreamland is the most precious ship. It makes me smile.

also about Galacta, I can’t even make up my mind on what personality they’d have. Though I’m mostly leaning to “gone mad from imprisonment” - which is not really good for ships. So metagala wouldn’t sail very well
