I like to imagine these two were definitely a little self conscious at first, but they’ve gotten so comfortable around each other that they’ll make fun of it (without any lines being crossed of course.)

Dedede’s probably got a whole damn list. Most of them he doesn’t even use that often, he just wants to get a rise out of him XD Meta sticks with the formalities like “your majesty” and “your highness” and sometimes “mi rey.” But he’ll once in a while call him “guapo” when no one’s within earshot. And @gabbyferamos​ thANK YOU, I hope you have a good day too! Hope this will satisfy for now :)

About how this came to be, Meta Knight’s white hat outfit reminded me of Mario Odyssey, then I realized Dedede has a “gentleman” outfit in Battle royale as well, then I saw the Kyari Pamyu Pamyu commercial with top hat Link… it was inevitable.
