Grabbing his jacket off the back of the couch Logan looked down at his sleeping girlfriend. The dvd menu was quietly playing on repeat in the background as Patience slept. Leaning down over the couch he rescued the controller from the folds of the blanket and turned off the tv.
Looking down at her nestled under the blanket a smile tugged at his lips.
❝I know you’re awake,❞ he told her.
When she didn’t move he rolled his eyes before leaning down and planting a kiss on her lips.
Patience wasn’t sure when exactly she fell asleep
but if the repeating sounds of a dvd menu filling
the living room were any indication, it was some
time before the movie had even ended. She kept
her eyes closed and snuggled deeper under her
blanket, trying to ignore the sound of movement
around her.
A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips at
Logan’s words, but she managed to keep herself as
still as possible. Until of course, she felt him kiss
her. She reached up, her hands slipping to the back
of his neck, gently holding him in place as she
deepened the kiss.
