Demonite, Valyrian Sword of House Banefort. House Banefort is descended from the First Men that dates back all the way to the Age of Heroes. They ruled as Petty Kings with the title of Hooded King. It wasn’t until centuries later than the House grew prosperous enough to acquire a Valyrian sword. The first wielder, a Banefort knight forgotten in name but not memory, used the blade in a bloody war and finished without shedding a drop of blood but was covered from head to toe in the blood of his enemies. A demon in war, the sword’s name was the memory of its first wielder, the Demon Knight.

One of my first sword drawn, I wanted something that really helped it stand out among the rest of my designs. I did the guard after one I saw in a bladesmithing book but felt it wasn’t enough so I drew the shape of the blade similar to Glamdring, or a leaf blade. The Pommel is a recent change that was done to tell the purpose of the name, there is the man and there is the demon within him. This is also the first sword I drew with three fullers.

A good job for young magic users is clearing out minor pests, like ghosts. Here, Demonite has managed to catch a poltergeist that’s been leaking ectoplasm everywhere and it’s super gross yo
