Blackfyre & Dark Sister
Trying to make Dark sister :3
House of the Dragon: Blackfyre.
Blackfyre, Valyrian Sword of Jon Snow as read in the fanfiction The Ghost by GreedofRage/WrathofAvarice. It is Theorized that Aegor kept the sword in his possession until his dying day and the sword remained the property of the Golden Company. Rather than Sell the blade or return it, the men loyal to Aegor and house Blackfyre kept it in hopes of one day giving the blade to the one who would lead them to reclaim their place in Westeros. In the Ghost, the blade was seized by Myles “Blackheart” Toyne and the hilt redone to match his House’s sigil. He fell in battle and a young Jon Snow, an exile after being resurrected after his murder, found the blade and took it as his. Together with his brother in arms and his mentor, Jon Snow traveled to Tolos and paid a smith to give the sword a new hilt and had it made to resemble the sword of his mentor and friend, Baelgor Aekylosh. Once it was discovered that Jon could use Valyrian magic of Conjuring fire like Baelgor, he trained and learned to set hiss word’s blade aflame with black flames that cast shadow instead of light!
This was number three in the designs I’ve done. I now understand why concept artist do so many designs, or at least half understand. One design isn’t enough, you want to do more and try more with what you have to work with. This has become my favorite of the three I have done. Some of the inspiration came from Zar’roc, the sword of Morzan, Brom, Eragon, and Murtagh from the Eragon book series, the movie version.
The design was digitally done by dragonanddirewolf

Demonite, Valyrian Sword of House Banefort. House Banefort is descended from the First Men that dates back all the way to the Age of Heroes. They ruled as Petty Kings with the title of Hooded King. It wasn’t until centuries later than the House grew prosperous enough to acquire a Valyrian sword. The first wielder, a Banefort knight forgotten in name but not memory, used the blade in a bloody war and finished without shedding a drop of blood but was covered from head to toe in the blood of his enemies. A demon in war, the sword’s name was the memory of its first wielder, the Demon Knight.
One of my first sword drawn, I wanted something that really helped it stand out among the rest of my designs. I did the guard after one I saw in a bladesmithing book but felt it wasn’t enough so I drew the shape of the blade similar to Glamdring, or a leaf blade. The Pommel is a recent change that was done to tell the purpose of the name, there is the man and there is the demon within him. This is also the first sword I drew with three fullers.
Rhaenyra may carry a sword or blade in ‘HOUSE OF THE DRAGON’ Season 3, as requested by Emma D’Arcy.
“All the men in the show don’t have to worry about where they put their hands because they’re constantly holding the pommel of their sword. That obviously sounds like innuendo and you can do with that what you will but that is true. And all the rest of us are going, “Where do we put our f—king hands?” Anyway, next year one hand is going to be taken care of. That’s what I want. I want a sword and I’ve been really clear about that with Ryan and I think that’s happening.”
