Permit A38
Today's mission is to get the elusive Permit A38. Which can only be acquired at "The Place That Sends You Mad" (Borrowed from Asterix & Obelix comics).
It is needed for the Trip the three want to go on. So they started their quest in the undisclosed Location of that madhouse.
Intro to the Apartment Residences:
Mera: Our Asexual pure Chaos Witch
Midori: A Non-Binary Tech Support demon (very sex and logic driven…maybe 16 bats in a Trenchcoat), sent to help Mera with…everything
Grimjaw: The Second Demon sent to help Mera, a Crossroad Demon with whom Mera usually makes her Deals, he be Grimjaw, maybe he is everything, maybe he is nothing.

Grimjaw decided to sit this one out—at least initially. He grabbed a cup of coffee, found a nice bench outside the administrative building, and made himself comfortable. He just wanted to enjoy the private show.
Inside, Midori initially tried to go the "normal" way, as they thought it would be a straightforward process…
They were wrong, and through their ability to disperse into 16 bats, not every office could be observed at once… they tried anyway.
After half an hour, they thought they had figured it out and started their quest because…to every problem, there is a solution.
Approaching the problem with cold IT logic, they requisitioned a little pull-wagon and used their demonic magic to rapidly materialise from room to room, absolutely terrifying the staff in the process but getting them to find the employee that could help them because someone else had already started their own "quest”.
Meanwhile, Mera got completely lost. She started making friends with the people waiting in line, entirely forgetting about the permit. Soon, she was standing in the middle of a massive crowd, now not only with the Visitors but also the Employees, completely zoned out but happily chatting away.
Refusing to give up—because IT support always finds a solution—Midori kept teleporting around with their wagon. More and more people crammed into the building, but with half the staff distracted by Mera, the foyer turned into an absolute mosh pit. People were being crushed back into the stairwells. The offices were completely empty because the remaining clerks were running around trying to find Mera, just so she could tell them where the specific clerk they needed was hiding in her crowd.
A full-blown riot was brewing. The front desk was completely abandoned; the receptionist was currently standing next to Mera, watching her perform a magic trick, while another official frantically searched the crowd for the supervisor of room 2-4-B.
Outside, Grimjaw took the last sip of his coffee. Showtime.
He stood up, activated his dark aura, and calmly walked toward the entrance. The moment the rioting crowd noticed the unnatural darkness creeping in, they immediately parted to let him through. He strolled comfortably up to Mera and simply said, "We need the ticket now."
Mera blinked, turned to the panicking bureaucrats, and her ADHD hyperfocus violently clicked into gear. She just started pointing:
"Otto! You need to go back to room 3-2-A with Liesl and finish receipt 34C in triplicate for me! Margaret and Nina, go to room 4-5-D, I need the following six forms in triplicate: 9A, 4C, 30I, 34AB, 19K, and 33B for Mr. Klaus, Mrs. Meier, and Mr. Bauer!…"
She went on like this for about 2 hours, commanding everyone.
The addressed clerks instantly sprinted off as soon as they got their orders. Within exactly 15 minutes after she ended, the entire backlog was cleared, everyone in the building had their required documents, and the bewildered officials happily handed Mera their Permit A38.
The head of the department approached Grimjaw, utterly stunned. "How… how did she do that?! NO ONE EVER GETS WHAT THEY CAME FOR HERE!!! and now everyone has their things…"
Grimjaw didn't miss a beat: "ADHD."
The head of the department went completely pale.
Just then, Midori crawled out of a hallway on all fours, completely exhausted and dragging their little wagon. They collapsed in front of them, wheezed, "Mission accomplished!" and triumphantly handed Grimjaw a second Permit A38.
"It's fine, we only need one," Grimjaw said, and casually handed the extra permit to the department head.
The boss stared at the impossible second Permit A38… and promptly fainted, falling straight backward.
After that, they left for Japan to relax in a cat cafe.
