The gif from the harvest festival episode reminded me of Lauren’s line about always apologizing(for shame that we never got a peak into that three hour processing moment)and I just imagined Floyd saying the same thing to her after one of the times she and Leyla have a fight and Lauren ruminates. I know they’ll probably talk about Leyla on more serious terms but I wish they’d gotten some more light moments too because those scenes were underrated.

FDSHLFJSD please floyd recycling that advice back at lauren after it imploded in his face when he tried to take it would be so funny. i wish we got those light hearted moments too, especially since most of the time when floyd went to lauren for advice about his situation with lyn, it ultimately had a pretty easy going tone. man kept his whole ass relationship with lyn a secret (and it's still a secret???) yet they still managed to squeeze in some lighthearted best friends advice moments. BUT NOTHING FOR LAUREN'S RELATIONSHIP WITH LEYLA??? WHEN WE KNOW HOW MUCH FLOYD APPROVES OF HER???? GUILLOTINE!!!

i know the assumption there is probably they're such a well built couple that they resolve out their fights between each other and it never gets to the point where lauren has to go hunt down advice but still!

[Cont. from here] @cryoprotector Settle down? Yes, right, of course. Right after he got his journal. Junkenstein begging her to wait a second as he went to a shelf, gloved hand hovering idly over the various shelves before settling on one, hand plucking it free and patting himself for a pen.  Demons. That should be under Dämonen in his notes. The good doctor flipping through pages then back tracking slightly till he found a partially written on page and drew a little line for spacing.  “Japan,” he murmured before plopping himself down at the Jiangshi’s feet. “What did you call this particular demon? A Garish...geko?” A pause in his notes as he looked up eagerly. 

“-And you said you met other ones? My, my!” How exciting! “Tell me everything! Why where you there in the first place? How did you know what it was? Did anyone else see?” So many questions bubbling from the scientist as he scooted himself closer like that might somehow make his hearing better.
