Just figured I'd get a nice post going of my World of Warcraft hunter tier 4 cosplay, Demon Stalker armor with Ranger General's Guard Thas'dorah.

technically this is the PvP/Season 1 recolor but WHATEVER

Costume entirely made by hand with various foams and Worbla. LEDs and smoke also wired by me. :)

Progress hype! Last night on stream I got some significant progress on the arrow, and my idea for lighting it up is going to work! I also worked off stream on replacing Evets's smoke setup since it was unreliable. I just yoinked the old one out and wired up an entirely new one. 🤣 I'm happy to say it works much more consistently now and I want to test wearing them soon. Twitchcon is so soon! My demon bois, Steve and Evets, have taken up vaping. I couldn't get them to behave when I put it all on for the photos for Twitchcon, but I did manage to get them both going at one point! DEMON BLOOD COMPLETE! I've been itching to get this step done since January, and I'm so so happy with it. I had a TON of fun on stream dripping and splattering the green all over my armor. I'm also super happy with the darker blue. This was the last big hurdle to get ready for the @twitchcon cosplay contest submission! Cosplay progress update! I was able to successfully get smoke in the demon bois thanks to the awesome tutorial from @henchwenchcosplay ❤️ some of the hardest wiring I've done so far, but the way it looks is awesome! Check my stream clips to see it in action! I've still got some wiring (switch and battery) and troubleshooting to do (I think 2 of my e-cigs might be defective?), but they're done enough that I moved on to repainting! Much happier with the darker color, and that's just a base coat. Today was awesome. I wore my hunter to @phoenixfanfusion, and I did the meet and greet with @therealadamsavage! He's a huge cosplay inspiration to me and such a great advocate for the community. He was so kind and so genuine in his support and appreciation for my costume, it actually made me tear up. It's amazing to hear that kind of feedback from someone so great. ❤️ And I even got an awkward cosplay hug!! I really can't wait to read his book! I also want to take a second to recognize my bf and his part in all this. When I told people at @taiyoucon that the paint wasn't done, this is part of what I meant. Left is done, right isn't. The finer detail painting that is my (almost) last step really makes all my details pop and truly gives it the WoW look. I'm planning to do the demon blood with it all together on my dress form so it looks cohesive!
