New Whiskey Release alert! 🚨Small Batch #14 Single Malt Whiskey will be released this Saturday June 12th at the Tasting Room in Talkeetna and at @gavorasfinewine in Fairbanks! Batch #14 is a Single Malt Whiskey that is a blend of 3 different barrels – two single malt American Char #3 oak barrels aged for 30 months and one single malt braggot whiskey barrel aged for 32 months, then finished in a Blanton’s bourbon barrel. Aroma: Notes of Citrus, Creme Brûlée, Vanilla Bean, & Peach Tasting notes: Subtle notes of bourbon, tangerine, fresh oak, & caramelized brown sugar with a rich copper color. Finishes dry making it a perfect whiskey for sipping neat or using for your favorite Old Fashioned recipe. This non-traditional 5 malt whiskey is distilled from a Braggot Wash, aged for 24 months on Minnesota white oak barrels char level 3. This whiskey is smooth, elegant and has notes of honey, clove, leather, and oak, 96 proof. 🥃 release alert! Batch #13 of Denali Spirits Whiskey will be released next week on Wednesday Dec. 30th at the Tasting Room, just in time to get a bottle to celebrate the New Year! Speaking of New year, we will be having a special New Years Eve dinner special at Denali Brewpub on the 31st. Check out the special below. We are even working on some special cocktails for the night as well! Appetizer: Seared lengua and fennel with pickled red onions and radishes, salsa verde, and house-made queso fresco. Served with fresh frybread. Entree: Steak and Grits Grilled to order beef tenderloin with marchand de vin sauce (we can call it red wine gravy, if that seems less daunting to folks) over braised collard greens and hominy grits.
