Sometimes souls got lost.
As much as Hades had tried to figure out just how or why some souls ended up in other places, it was still one of those mysteries of the Underworld. There were plenty of his Grecian family that were worshipped in other cultures by other names. Of course they’d all been adopted by the Romans as well to fit their needs, some better suited than others. And they were also rather big on the whole idea of conquering other places which could have been where some of the problems came in. And if they were ending up here then he was sure somewhere things were being evened out with others going to the other respective realms of the dead.
This was definitely one of those cases. He didn’t usually judge the souls and where they were to reside for the rest of eternity, but then they’d never actually had one from Egypt either. Somewhere it would balance... He just hoped he hadn’t lost anyone important as he reviewed the young woman’s life, leaving her to stand there alone in the chamber. Judgement was not a public affair nor the concern of anyone else as far as he was concerned. He looked down at her solemnly. “And do you have anything to add? I’m afraid I don’t use scales and feathers.”
