DRUGS TW,

dear ana is the daughter of 2 up and coming hollywood names, her father practically being the next stephen spielburg and her mother the next kathleen kennedy (amazing female producer check her out)

this led to a v lonely childhood for ana that was filled with nanny after nanny whom she tormented to no end just to get attention from her parents who were almost never home. 

she turned out to be musically gifted and picked up the guitar, piano and singing at a young age

she was a child starlet for a few years when she appeared on barney and various disney shows (never in a leading role however) to try and gain more attention from her parents but quickly grew tired of it by age 11 and quit. she had a few film credits to her name on her parents’ projects but nothing major

this led ana to pick up a bad drug habit at a very young age (13 to be exact) when she went to her first vanity fair oscar’s after party for one of her father’s films and was introduced to cocaine and ecstasy and has been hooked ever since

she retired from child acting at 14 when her parents divorced and she moved in with her father in calabasas so he could hopefully keep an eye on her

boy was he fucking wrong

she was quite the party girl since she didn’t really have any hobbies other than writing songs sometimes her friends and extended family don’t hear from her for a few days but somehow she always ends up all right. most of the time with a random guy in her bed.

once she graduated high school she decided that her next career venture was the music industry. she joined an up and coming local band as their singer/guitarist and front woman and soon had a number one album on the alternative charts and have kept putting out bangers since then. (think paramore type stuff)

when in public she puts on a graceful act for the most part to maintain a decent reputation, occasionally her drug fueled escapades will be caught by the paps and smeared all over page 6 and she’ll get angry calls from her parents, but she hasn’t had a britney circa 2007 meltdown yet.

if you’re her friend then you probably know she has a mountain of problems and tries to hide it from the world but if you aren’t then you might not see the cry for help she’s putting out into the world.

on any given day ana is a very sarcastic, witty, sharp minded individual who can clap back at any statement and turn it into a compliment for herself

she uses her comedy and self-deprecation to laugh about the somewhat shitty situation she’s in but always loves to make people laugh. it’s kind of like her security blanket

she’s very much a serial dater and doesn’t mind not being able to keep a relationship, it’s more fun to date around but she does have an on and off bf (V MUCH WC!!) who she loves but constantly fucks up with

Miles had a pretty normal childhood until he was around 12

TW: Death, drowning

At his 12th birthday party they were trying to celebrate via barbecue in the park and his parents told him to watch his sister while they unpacked the car

He did not watch his sister

She fell into the river and couldn’t swim

When he realized he jumped in trying to save her but he also could not swim

By the time his parents saw them and ran over it was too late for his sister

He blames himself for that

His family fell apart shortly after that. His dad left and his mom was never quite herself again. 

He ended up in foster care after about a year of that 

He hated foster care though and left it to go hide away with friends instead

Moved around a lot because of that 

Never really meant to become a singer/musician but it was the only thing he was truly passionate about, and he was good at it, so

Didn’t have to pursue the career for long before people started to pay attention 

Now it’s actually a pretty good paying job for him, but of course, it comes with downsides 

He is a very private person and doesn’t really like the aspect of everything about him being googleable 

But mostly he enjoys it 

He’s generally a hard worker, which is why his scandal was so surprising. He had never missed or been late for tour dates before 

TW: Alcoholism

It’s because he developed some unhealthy coping mechanisms as a child 

That being alcoholism

Normally he’s pretty high functioning despite that

But recently it’s really been getting to him all the pressure and everything that comes with the business so he’s getting worse

Hence the missed shows 

But almost no one knows this about him. Even if they’re close to him. He refuses to admit that he has a problem even though he knows it’s not normal or okay for him to be doing all that

Generally, Miles is a laid back person, but he’s not afraid to fight if something really bothers him 

He tries to be as funny as possible, mostly at the expense of himself

But don’t let that fool you he is very confident in himself, especially in regards to his appearance the only thing he’s actually insecure about is that he thinks he’s not that smart due to dropping out of high school 

He kinda comes off like he has the emotional range of a chair

On the other hand he kind of clings to people because he’s scared of abandonment, but also always thinks he’s going to be hurt so distances himself. Emotionally distant, physically clingy 

Lowkey a sadboi but doesn’t really realize it yet, he just thinks everyone feels like shit all the time and it’s normal

         hi  there  folks     !       i’m  quinn  and  honestly  my  brain  isn’t  fully  with  us  tonight  bc  i’m  so  tired  but  we’re  going  to  try  our  best  with  an  intro!  thankfully  nolan  is  a  revival  of  an  old  oc  with  a  few  things  swapped  around  so  we’ve  got  a  place  to  start.  beneath  the  cut  are  some  notes  about  him,  and  if  you’d  like  to  plot  please  give  this  a  like  and  i’ll  find  my  way  into  your  ims     ! !

raised  in  equal  parts  by  a  mother  who  deserved  better  and  an  older  brother  who  knew  better,  nolan’s  father  was  conveniently  absent  ——  all  he  had  was  the  last  name.  sometimes  nolan  claims  to  be  the  secret  son  of  one  of    the  kennedy’s,    but  that’s    probably     bullshit.  he  could  have  asked  to  see  the  birth  certificate  at  eighteen  but  never  did    (   please  circle  the  answer  that  most  closely  applies:   a.  out  of  respect  for  your  mother,   b.  the  paperwork  would  be  too  much  of  a  hassle,   c.  isn’t  it  better  to  believe  he  is  ?   you  can’t  do  that  if  you  know  the  truth  )

people  from  his  home  town  were  sure  he  was  going  places.  in  school  things  came  naturally  to  him,  though  he  studied  hard,  and  his  talent  with  music  was  the  perfect  addition  to  his  application  to  earn  him  a  scholarship  to  a  university  that  will  remain  nameless    (   please,   don’t  talk  about  it  in  front  of  him  ).  however,  when  he  got  there  things  were  different.  suddenly  nolan  wasn’t  the  exceptional  among  the  many,  but  was  surrounded  by  so  many  talented  people.  he  panicked.  everyone  had  always  told  him  he  was  special,  so  he  didn’t  know  what  to  do  when  he  wasn’t  anymore.

barely  two  years  later  and  he’s  giving  various  excuses  for  dropping  out   (    flunking  out   ?     being  asked  to  leave.   )    so  what    [   ‘  i  dropped  out,  smoked  a  lot  of  dope  . . .   not  because  of  tahlia,   but  because  i’m  unmotivated,  or  whatever  ’  ].   excuses  that,  while  built  on  grains  of  truth,  were  there  to  cover  up  what  he  couldn’t  say,  because  letting  people  down  by  choice?  well  somehow  that  was  easier  than  not  being  able  to  live  up  to  what  they  thought  you  were:  blame  it  on  weed,  on  girls,  on  yourself  ——  just  don’t  let  them  think  it  was  their  fault,  that  they  could  have  somehow  done  you  better.  get  a  job  at   a  bar,  pay  the  bills,  play  the  guitar  when  you  can,     it  calms  you.

however,  nolan  was  given  a  second  chance.  his  brother  sent  in  a  video  of  him  playing  guitar  at  a  local  open  mic  to  a  popular  reality  singing  competition  show.  suddenly  nolan  found  himself  being  watched  by  thousands,  millions ....  but  the  pressure  was  different  this  time.  he  felt  special  again,  confident  again.  america  seemed  to  love  him  and  soon  he  had  a  title,   season  four  champion,   and  a  record  deal.

for  those  who  watched  the  show  carefully,  they  might  have  noticed  that  something  had  changed  about  nolan  after  he  won.  while  during  the  run  of  the  show  he  seemed  personable  and  thankful  for  the  chance  he  was  being  given,  the  nolan  that  appeared  after  the  show  seemed  distant,  stressed,  distrusting  of  others  and  could  almost  be  called    skittish.    many  speculated  he  hadn’t  anticipated  what  real  fame  would  be  like,  and  when  his  debut  album  did  so  well  he  was  faced  with  what  his  new  reality  would  be  like.

the  pressure  had  been  getting  to  nolan,  it  was  true,  but  running  away  from  this  was  a  little  more  difficult,  so  he  sought  out  new  coping  mechanisms.  they  got  him  through  almost  to  the  release  of  his  sophomore  album,  but  when  he  was  supposed  to  preform  one  of  the  singles  of  the  upcoming  album  on  a  national  morning  news  program,  he  arrived  visibly  intoxicated  and  caused  quite  the    scene.    management  quickly  moved  him  into  the  den,  hoping  they  would  be  able  to  save  face  and  allow  record  sales  to  remain  unaffected.

HE/HIM.  ╱ BRANDON COSTA is TWENTY-ONE years old and they have made their way to fame by becoming a MUSICIAN. the situation that got them put the den was PASSING OUT DUE TO DRUGS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SOLD OUT STADIUM SHOW. hopefully they can clean up their image before they lose everything.

okay hi !! this is brandon’s very short (i’m hoping) introduction !! really quickly so my name is goddess and i already love every single one of you so im me for plots or just to talk or whatever i don’t mind ! i also play the perrie fc so there’s that ! 

BACKGROUND:

so brandon is essentially on the same fame level as his FC. but instead of acoustic guitars, he’s def more of a rockstar. he came from nothing, two parents with failed music careers whose albums sold 0 copies. 

bc of this his parents pushed the life on him for a really long time and he became a success. he has a hard time figuring out if he’s successful because of them or his talent, though

very early into his career he began using drugs and it went from casual and light to all the time and heavy really quick. 

he went from this sweet compassionate and thoughtful person to someone who lashes out at the smallest things. 

he realizes this, though and does everything he can to try to change his attitude without compromising the drugs

 ABOUT HIS FINAL SITUATION THAT LEAD HIM HERE:

brandon and his parents (who are also his managers) were fighting about his drug use because brandon wanted to go to rehab and cancel his stadium tour. 

the tour brought in a lot of money so his parents weren’t a fan of him canceling and would rather put his health at risk. 

due to stress, right before the first show of the tour he took way more xanax than he ever had before and ended up passing out and seizing before he was even three songs into the show. 

ABOUT BRANDON:

he’s a sweet guy with a really big heart and thats the main reason why he allows his parents to treat him how they do

he really didn’t like fame to begin with

super down to earth and artsy , def doesn’t try to fit in with the rockstar image unless he has to in public

doesn’t trust people easily because he thinks everyone will try to use him like his family does

super secluded most times, rather be on his own

Dustin grew up with super-rich parents, like his nanny raised him kind of rich 

They own a production company in LA so he’s lived here all his life

He has no siblings so he spent most of his childhood alone 

Never felt particularly connected to his parents, they never paid much attention to him, he felt that they didn’t love him 

He’s always kind of had a complex about that 

He was spoiled though, with his parents buying him things instead of giving him attention or affection 

Despite this though he was still kind of a loner growing up, not really knowing how to make friends or handle himself in social situations 

Until he got to high school, when people started realizing the power of money and that being friends with him would pay off 

Then he went under a complete overhaul, instead becoming very outgoing, always striving to be the center of attention and to have as many friends as possible 

Around this same time he started acting out, partying, drinking, drugs, etc. the reason for which apart from it being fun was to see if his parents would notice/care - they did not 

He got good at it too, being known as the rich party boy in his school 

But he still never really learned how to make deeper connections with people, like friendships and relationships that weren’t based on surface-level things 

He still struggles with that, even now that he’s older and has had a few of those kinds of friends/partners 

Even though he’s not good at it he still seeks those kinds of things out, wanting to mean something to someone to prove he is worthy of more than surface-level attention 

On a less deep note, he started acting shortly after he graduated high school and he loves it 

Especially because of all the positive attention that comes along with things like having fans and being famous 

His social circle is wide and he still parties a lot, which is what ended up getting him into trouble, when paparazzi snapped a pic of him at a party doing drugs 

Which is what landed him in the den 

Dustin as a person is very outgoing and charming, he thrives off of the positive attention of others and loves to be the center of attention 

On the other hand, he does not like it when he isn’t the center of attention 

Although he would never be confrontational about it, he’s a pushover 

Dustin is the kind of person who has a large group of not very close friends rather than a small group of close friends 

he has his guard up and is hard to get to know really, even though he craves the feeling of meaning something to someone on a deeper level

He wants people to really know him, but he is afraid of being rejected or tossed aside as if he doesn’t matter 

That said, Dustin is clingy, if he likes you it will take a lot in order to get rid of him, he is a very needy person 

Dustin also jokes around a Lot, he loves making jokes, he often tries way too hard to be funny and it doesn’t work, but when his jokes hit it fuels him

Dustin is confident in general, but also scared that no one will ever truly see him and love him for it - a fear rooted in his parents detached nature - he feels like there is something inherently wrong with him that makes him unlovable because of how he grew up 

Dustin is an animal lover he loves loves loves them if he didn’t work and travel so much he would probably have like 6 dogs

Also, he sleeps a Lot just so much if he doesn’t have anything scheduled he is going to use that time to nap sleeping for 12 hours is nothing to him he is a nap fiend
