Deep South Publishing and Denis Hirson will launch In the Heat of Shadows, South African poetry 1996-2013, at The Book Lounge, on Thursday July 24, 5.30pm for 6pm.
The anthology is edited by Denis Hirson and features Antjie Krog, Ari Sitas, Kelwyn Sole, David wa Maahlamela, Khadija Heeger, Nathan Trantraal, Ronelda Kamfer, Vonani Bila, Professors Keorapetse Kgotsitsile, Robert Berold among others.
A number of the poets will read at the launch on Thursday night.
