Ranking the Thumb based on how likely each member is to beat you (their wife):

1) Valencina
She has a very bad temper and you happen to be a very convenient outlet for that anger. Don't want to repeat myself over and over again about how her upbringing and fall from grace contributes to her being extra violent towards you the more she loves you, but this is a large reason why she is the most aggressive towards you despite (or really because of in her case) your position as wife to her. Should be noted though that if you were her lover prior to her involvement with the Thumb, she would be significantly less violent with you and would probably rank below Katriel
2) Denis
Denis isn't very likely to take his stress from the day out on you by beating you, so he places lower than Valencina. However, he absolutely will hit you as a means of discipline if you disappoint him or do something he doesn't like, and since he is seen enjoying firing his gun in his battle sprites in Ruina, I imagine he has some pretty strong bloodlust that extends outside of just shooting. Since he's self-centered, I also think he may be easier to displease than the others, which contributes to him hitting you more. I don't think he would beat you to death, but he wouldn't let you off easy just for being his wife, and he might hit you harder than the others because of his preferences and personality
3) Kalo
Also a man who probably isn't going to take his anger out on you but still will hit you if he 'needs' to. He isn’t particularly aggressive despite being so prideful, so although he will deliver a hit hard enough to remind you who's in charge and that he could hurt you bad if he wanted to, he's not going to take it much further than that at least in terms of direct physical violence when you displease him. Despite his high standards, you may even be able to convince him to lighten your punishment by profusely apologizing, changing it to being something like kneeling for an extended period of time or copying down excerpts of Thumb manuals on respect by hand. Although he, like Denis, isn’t all that affectionate, he will take you to checkups with Thumb physicians and treat your injuries if they’re likely to have a significant long term impact on you as well
4) Katriel
Definitely is capable of becoming disappointed with you if you violate her rules, but she has a bit of understanding especially if you apologize. She will still hit you, but she’ll probably get it treated quickly, and she won’t show frustration even if you continue to repeat the mistake. She will hit you again, of course, but she treats it as if it was the first time you did it and hopes no grudges. She will be having a serious conversation with you about why you keep messing up though. Not a super hard hitter though (by choice) and not even the most frequent one plus if you catch her at the right time she may miss that you even disrespected her and she ‘needs’ to hit you for it, allowing you to get away unscathed
5) Boris
Very devoted to Thumb style discipline so if you’re acting up he’s hitting you to make you act right. I think he’s more affectionate than the above so he’s not as easy to upset, but he isn’t super likely to back down when he’s decided to punish you. He will however remove his metal knuckles before beating you since he does love you as his wife and would not want to lose you. If he starts swinging with them on it means he wants someone dead and nothing less. Ranks below Katriel because I think he is a bit more prone to letting his emotions prevent him from hitting you, sparing you from some beatings. I do think he may hit harder than Katriel does depending on the infraction, but this is about how often he would hit you and not how brutally he would. I will say though that he does hold back enough to avoid breaking bones and while I don’t think he would entirely avoid the head, he would probably just slap your cheek at most if he were to aim there
6) Lei Heng
Will get angry and may be rough with you when you disrespect him/his rules for you as a means of discipline when others are watching, but generally his extreme favor to you as his wife would outweigh that. Of course, he doesn’t want you outright insulting him in public and will intimidate/humiliate you for doing so, but he likely wouldn’t outright hit you whether in public or in private. Maybe he’ll drag you by your wrist or grab your throat, which could cause some bruising, but he isn’t going to break your arm or hand or try to strangle you, and he will likely choose to punish you in a way that doesn’t include physical violence
7) Lucio
Big it depends here. As long as Valencina is around and she doesn't order him to, he will pretty much never hit you, since he's a very passive and inactive man. If he outlives her though, it may change a bit, since I could see him developing a bit of bloodlust over time as he gets more involved with the Thumb. However, I think there are circumstances where he would largely be submissive towards you, primarily being ones in which you are his mom and Valencina’s wife but you pursued him despite that. He’s more used to doing as you say here, so he will mostly continue to do that, with him only starting to get more aggressive if you’re more removed, like being his mom but not having been a willing participant in the relationship. He still isn’t super quick to hit you since he does love you lots, but he may do it in extreme circumstances, thinking of it as being like spanking a kid. I don’t think he loves it though, and he ranks the lowest because although the chance isn’t always 0 he will generally show slightly more empathy towards you and there’s circumstances wherein he wouldn’t even express negative thought towards you let alone hit you. At max he could rank about between Katriel and Lei Heng I think, since he’s more willing to hit you than Lei Heng but he can be convinced not to unlike Katriel
