Didn't have a good night's sleep in the kitchen/diner/bedroom hotel room we stayed in last night: the fridge made loud stressed chicken noises all night long, the smoke detector light pulsed a beam of light directly through my eyelids, the corridor light lit up the door like it was a gateway to hell and there were at least a 1000 seagulls just outside the window. I even dreamt seagulls were in the room trying to peck my head. The birthday girl slept like a log. Anyway, had a perfect day today, a big breakfast at Favoloso (given the thumbs up by Bill Bryson), we visited Emma Mason Gallery (@emmamasonprints) and had a great time chatting to Jane (@janefisher21) who spoiled us rotten showing us original prints by Edwin La Dell, Denise Hoyle, Chloe Cheese and Charles Shearer. Such brilliant work! I think we know which print we want. In the meantime, I bought a few more greetings cards for my economy art collection. After a giant slice of apple pie we went back to Towner Art Gallery and enjoyed the Phoebe Unwin exhibition and then were given free tickets to the tennis tournament. 👍 I haven't watched tennis since the last century so couldn't remember the rules but was good to watch a match LIVE.
