First let me say I am utterly exhausted and my brain has taken quite a hit today! I will be posting this to Granger Enchanted as well as some of the stuff is fandom related! This post contains fangirl squeeing, Stargate, Trueblood and Harry Potter news I met Tom again today, a few times actually which was amazing because we found out he stayed an hour past closing time to sign photos and take photos with fans so no one would miss out. 1. We arrived and went straight to the commerce building where Tom was already signing autographs (LOVE HIM!) lol two of my male friends wanted pictures with Katee Sackhoff (she was unbelievably funny and flirted like a demon with Tahmoh Penikett when he invaded her panel but more on that later. 2. Took some pictures of cosplayers lol lots of pictures 3. Spoke with Peter Williams (Apophis) he was amazing! Talked about the asteroid named after him called Apophis that has its own website lol 4. We then skipped over to Denis O'Hare who remembered me from the day before, pointed out my pink shoes and said he loved them haha We then had a chat about True Blood, Alan Ball (whom he mentioned loved Bill, I said Bill was a douche bag and his handler agreed haha) We talked about Joe and how all the ladies love him and then he said 'Oh would you like to see something on my phone?' Me:- UM YES and then he proceeded to show me his photos, ones of him with Alexander Skarsgard at a premiere, some set photos and one of him as Russell :D He told us Talbot was single and looking and winked at me hahaha um okay? 5. We then went to the Tom Felton Seminar so this is probably going to get long winded so settle in an enjoy (I might not remember everything so be nice haha) I was in the second row btw hehe
The seminar opened with everyone cheering and going mad, Tom saying he has never felt so welcomed before
The first question was a lady asking if he's ever read fanfiction and who he thought Draco should have been with- the thousand plus crowd goes quiet and I yell out (Hermione!) to which he laughs and goes 'Hermione?' and the crowd laughs
He tells a story about when he first auditioned and he tried out for Harry then Ron, Hagrid and Hermione (we all laugh) then he says he remembers standing in line with the others and the producer asked them which scene they were looking forward to most and he said he panicked because he hadn't read the books yet. So he waited until the person next to him spoke and they said they couldn't wait to see Gringotts and the Goblins, and when it was his turn he said 'Oh I love those Gringotts Guys' haha he said the producer saw right through him and then he got the part of Draco
One girl asked what colour he'd dye his hair (sigh lol)
The next was an intelligent question about being a method actor, he talked abit about Draco and his personality
The next question was about Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman and what it was like to work with them. He replied that he loved both men but Ralph was 'bloody scary' and even when he was just eating his breakfast and reading the paper it was still 'Voldemort' eating and reading the paper lol He also said Ralph wore silk pj's underneath his Voldie costume. Alan he loved but also said he was a method actor who struck an imposing figure but he was the funniest man he'd ever met
He talked about fanart and how he was so impressed with some of the art that had been showing up at the convention for him to sign- he laughed a bit and said he promised that Dan and himself hadn't posed for any of the more raunchy photos online and that he had blushed when he'd seen some of them.
A girl asked 'Did your Daddy ever beat you with the pimp cane?' the crowd goes a bit wild and he laughs, about to answer when the girl says 'oh I mean LUcius/Jason not your real dad because that would be weird!' Tom laughs a bit more and says yes Jason had whacked him a few times with the pimp cane lol
SOmeone asked him to sing, he blushed and said no he couldn't do it without his guitar
He told a story about how a woman came up to him today and said 'Can I see your wand if I show you my snitch?" only to reveal her tattoo of a snitch
He is asked about 'crazy' fans and how he deals with it. He replies that the superfans are what keeps the franchise alive and the HP franchise was only ever intended for one movie, but fan demand asked for more.
He spoke of his next movie with some Green chick that is coming out soon, plus how he gets to play a supergeek which was exciting for him
The next question was about the comic relief skit he did and was he amazed to meet Paul McCartney and tried to set his Mum up with him but she got all shy and wouldn't even say hi lol (so cute)
One of the MC's jokingly said he heard a whisper of a Draco/Dobby and Tom replied 'Yeah don't have a problem with that!'
6. We then went to visit with Tahmoh and Katee so my fanboys could get their stuff signed hehe 7. Then into the line with Tom again who upon seeing me (after I said hey I was first in line yesterday), smiles and said 'oh the peace sign!' and then I could have happily died and never come back again hahaha 8. We went to the Katee Sackhoff seminar because two were put on for those who missed out the day before. She was hilariously funny even though I know nothing about BSG. Then about half way through a question is asked 'Do you really hate all your BSG cast members and do you remember sleeping with Tahmoh in Las Vegas' she bursts out laughing and says 'DId everyone leave your line?" the crowd went ohhhhhhhhhhhh lol and he laughed and said she'd stolen all the BSG fans and how unfair it was lol Highlights of the three days: Meeting Tom Felton, Denis O'Hare and Peter Williams. p.s I wanted to mention we went to Denis O'Hare seminar the day before and he spoke alot about Alexander Skarsgard and Talbot's love scene and how both men were frantic with nerves and how they were terrified. The producers decided to cancel the session which made it even worse! He also spoke about when he filmed the anchorman scene he only had a small space (a few cms) of non toxic blood to lick and the crew kept saying 'listen Denis only lick here, not there or there just here!!' lol He also mentioned an end of year party where they all had to eat jelly from a big goblet full of what looked like talbots remains haahahah
also...Peter Williams spoke of his last day on set when his character Apophis was laying on the table having died. He said the cast used to prank each other all the time and when his scene ended and he was laying on a table in a straight jacket and chained down, everyone left. LOL he was laughing and said he was there for about 30 minutes before he heard a little giggle off set haha cute
