~To Live and Drive In L.A.
One of my fondest memories of Living and Drive In L.A. is eating the delicious Tuna Melts, Hot Dogs, The Orange Bang as well as the fantastic great people like Dennis Blake who was Chief among them at The World Famous Tail O’ The Pup...
Once I had fell on hard times for a couple of months and Dennis who was the owner of the “Pup” and held court there everyday; served me and my Girlfriend (for free) for 3 weeks until I got back up on my feet! (unheard in L.A.)
Once I got back rolling again and money in my pocket; he wouldn’t let me pay him back.
I had to force the man to take it! Man I sure miss that guy...
He’s and the Tail O’ The Pup are one of the great legends of Los Angeles!
