What to call Discord's pocket dimension in casual conversation eluded her. But she made due with creative nicknames.

"I thought I'd drop by to see how you were doing. Things look a little more...topsy-turvy than...usual." She gave the place a glance, trying to hide any judgment in her expression. Things looked 'gloomy'. That was more what she was thinking. She had noticed Discord's magic seemed to reflect how he was feeling.

He looked at the old castle. An odd feeling welled inside him. He's been alive long enough to see this old place built and used, and eventually fall to ruin. Quite a lot of history in those crumbled walls. Hell, it wouldn't surprise him if he somehow had a hand in its fall. Guess it made it all the more special that he was involved in this little revitalization. "It'll certainly take a woman's touch and then some for sure. But! Nothing our creative vision can't handle!"

Rarity recalled the rime she and Fluttershy retrieved some old tapestry from the castle. Inside it had been spooky but once there was good enough lighting it wasn't so bad.

"Darling, do you think we'd be able to find lighting enough for everyone? I would think once the place is lifted from darkness it will make all the difference. It's really not so bad. It all has to do with how a thing is framed, you know?"

They had gotten close enough now that they reached the closed off entrance. Celestia and Luna put the Do Not Enter tape and signs up a while back for the protection of wanderers.
