Admittedly, there are days where i mourn the loss of a LOT of the Homestuck work i did to the great Tindeck shutdown. There's some archives out there thankfully, but even still, it sucks that so much of the shit we all did back in the day is now lost.
There's lots of stuff that probably went missing that isn't in the archives, and is now basically 'Homestuck fandom lost media', and that's pretty tragic.
Much of my voice acting tag is either sporadic uploads to tumblr, tindeck embeds, youtube videos, or soundcloud embeds that are now broken. Most of the tumblr uploads are also busted and no longer function compared to how they used to.
Even though my involvement in the fandom isn't what it once was, i will still miss all of the absolutely off the wall content that was around during the comic's peak years.
the level of creativity during those days was astounding. it truly felt so vibrant, so inspiring, you really felt like you could accomplish so much. I am a little sad that newer Homestucks won't get to experience that, BUT i AM glad that the fandom seems to be springing back to life in its' own way! Forging its' own path, with plenty of art and creativity in its' own right.
