the room is dark, as it always is ---- but it is simply due to a need to conserve energy, hopping from house to house is rather paramount in this landscape, and with the fact that one was never too sure of the environment they found themselves in. he’s never too sure of anything if he was being perfectly honest. other than the beginning of this world, they had lost sight of what had crated this world, but ahembur held the answers to all the questions that they had once had about this world. now they just had to find them, which was ( more difficult ) than what one would have originally believed. still what he wanted was to get out of here, move. but he had learned in his short period of time with them, that he no longer felt confident in going anywhere without them. going anywhere without ryn specifically. while he felt akin to the rest of the posse, it was this strange lost soul that the elf truly felt himself drawn to. a true star.
“ when can we leave ? ” it’s a soft enough question. voiced under his breath as he longingly looks out of the window towards the vast unknown around him. wanderlust itches under his skin. he wishes to go out to explore it. he wants everything to be in the palm of his hand, a selfish but understandable desire for someone so rich in the scripture. eyes fall to his comrade, whom is perched elsewhere in the room. the boy is careful to always keep his belongings on him when he is around his rather morally ambiguous partner. he feels the vibration of the v.i. in his forearm. she wants his attention, but he isn’t in the mood to comply with the false narrative at the moment. the more time he spends with the group, the less fulfilled he feels with what was once enough. “ i want to find him. ”
