RIngo's vocals on "Boys" are so good
They're as tight as a band can be -- George is great, Ringo is passionate and doesn't miss a beat, and Paul is going off like a Roman candle in the background. It's so energetic, so fun, so authentically joyful. They loved what they did and it made them great. And they had no problem singing about boys in 1963. They wore suits but they were smashing conventions early and often. I insist that on the basis of this and "Please Mr. Postman" The Beatles get admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the Greatest Girl Bands of all time!
