Is there anything that's part of the update that doesn't require someone to have amiibo cards and a reader?? I mean now I have a reason to go out and buy them but is there anything us non amiibos players get out of the update?

AY WOW i legit just saw ur answer to my ask from weeks ago right now ? ? ?? ??? but since then i started playing dragon age 2 and it just makes me so happy the battle system isn't as slow as origins bc that's why it took me like 5 months to beat the game

Hi!! I really want to cosplay robin for a con in late march but I've never made my own cosplay before, I usually just wear some kind of fandom shirt or wear a nice outfit so i have no idea where I would start??? Do you think you could make a tutorial on how you made the jacket?

Hi there!! I’ll start by wishing you luck on your first cosplay. Robin’s a pretty ambitious start, but i’ll do what I can to help you out! I can definitely put something together as far as a tutorial goes, though it wouldn’t have step-by-step pics because I’ve already finished it. I do want to let you know that I’ve been cosplaying for a long while and the was one of my most involved pieces yet, but if you’re up to the challenge then go for it!

Start with research: find tutorials, reference images, decide what parts of the costume you want to make vs. buy. I did a lot of this on Pinterest, you can find mine and some other good Robin boards for inspiration, and there are some other good tutorials on tumblr as well. There’s a good visual reference that I used here

After that, find a pattern (it can be a lab coat, or a robe, or whatever you can find that’s similar, these are usually fairly easy to sew) and look for fabric! I’ll also mention that I used a (regular) sewing machine for a large majority of this project, so that’d be key for working on it.
