Dept can be bought off collectively - unite!

The student dept problem in the US amounted to 1tn$ locking students into a dependency relationship before even able to ear money. Modern slavery due to a intrinsically flawed and unfair concept/system (dept). Rolling Jubilee bought the $3.8m worth of student loans for a total of $106,709.48 in cash. That’s about 3¢ for $1 of student debt. The Activist group was able to pay off the dept thanks to a crowd funded campaign - here one of the donors speaking: “I just thought that the concept of mutually buying discounted debt and abolishing it was really clever,” he says. “I realize that the debt market is too big for Rolling Jubilee to make a difference, but the action just pokes some really big holes in capitalism.
