usm peter and miles make me so so sick. especially their conversation at the end of the iron vulture episode. the way theyre both protective of the other in different, mirroring ways. miles watched his peter parker die so he jumps into battles so that peter doesn’t have to, because, to him, the world needs peter parker more than it does miles morales. peter wants miles to be safe so that he can go home, because he feels like its his fault miles is here at all and the least he can do is make sure miles is able to return, so he tries to defend miles or keep him out of fights entirely. the guilt present in both sides. the way neither of them thinks the other should feel guilty. i can’t let you die versus i need you to live. they make me sick.
