2 months (and 7 days 😅🤦🏼‍♀️) of Derek! 😍 He is learning how to smile on his own a lot more, following things with his eyes, lifting up and turning his head around to check things out, learning how to work his hands and grabbing lips, his favorite thing to look at is his mobile, he loves hearing songs and rhymes, and he’s up to size one diapers! One day late, buuuuut Derek is one month old! 💕 All stretched out and flexing his muscles. 💪🏼 This little guy is tough! Before we even left the hospital, he was working on lifting his head on his own! Today he had a firm grip on his pacifier and was trying to put it back into his mouth by himself. 😱 Despite having an upper lip AND tongue tie for 3 weeks, he has been doing amazing with pacifiers, bottles, and breastfeeding. I’m constantly surprised and amazed by him. I’ll even burp him and tell him how proud I am of him! 😂 We’re working all day and night on growing this guy and are doing our best to stick with breastfeeding!
