In people’s defense, Nakaba doesn’t make that much of an effort to be period-accurate either. So taking insp. from a myriad of time periods to design a character’s clothes & hairstyle & mannerisms isn’t *too* farfetched I guess?
except its not just inspiration. its literal historical figures. i saw an elizabeth as the daughter of henry the VII, and while yes the idea is cute it’s also... very.. very inaccurate. like.. i’d be fine if it was just design choices but its NOT. there was a marie antoinette elizabeth which.. is also impossible?? sure nakaba isnt very accurate when it comes to clothing and stuff, but when it comes to important figures and such he’s always accurate.
