Do all of the questions. DO IT. :D
Lol ok I don’t have anything better to be doing (and this statement isn’t even sarcastic today)
11. My Family
I'm one of those people that believe that, besides blood, friends can be family. Friends are the family that you choose. The family you are born with can either be amazing or it can fall short of what someone feels a family should be like. But what's amazing about finding good friendships is that those friends can be like, no - are your family. No family is perfect but what holds a good one together is support, wisdom, grace, compromise, understanding, and love.
In some cases, blood is not thicker than water. I am not denying that ancestry can beat out a friendship - ancestry is history and history is what makes a person. But family is not all of ancestry. I've been lucky in life to be able to consider a friend as a family member. Family on this level - water thicker than blood - is a friend who understands me, guides me, gives me reality checks, and is always there to comfort and encourage me. This person always knows how to cheer me up and is a person I can rely on 100%.
My family, blood, is different. They're the ones who have probably seen me in all my states, because we live together, because we grew up together, etc. There are 6 of us in the house. I love each and every one of them and it's only recently that I have been recognizing the ways they truly love me. As a kid, you don't think about it too often but, now I see that what used to be "mean" and "stern" is actually discipline and love.

Darn, your anons. For what it's worth, I think you're awesome and cute and funny and cool and all that good stuff. Rock on, sister!
Thank you, that means alot.
You're so rad for being so nice and smart and awesome and cool.
Rock on! <3
Naruto, Shingeki no Kyojin, Inuyasha.
Naruto: Have you ever been betrayed by someone you thought of as family?
Nope! thank god
Shingeki no Kyojin: Would you knowingly be part of a secret society where you enjoy a lavish life at the expense of the vast majority of the rest of the world?
… But aren’t we already kind of living in one?
JAK GETS DEEP
Inuyasha: What era of time would you like to visit?
GOOD QUESTION Probably the future! If we haven’t wiped ourselves out!
In terms of the past, I mean I kind of don’t really care… there was a lot more entropy and anger and stuff…. I think we’re doing relatively well where we are right now? Iunno I’m bad with history
Trail of Broken Snails
The wind whipped through our hair as we hurtled down the sidewalks weaving in and around the fallen twigs and branches from last night's storm. In the town only one hour north, the tornado had snapped more than little extensions of trees. With winds up to 220 km per hour, our pedaling feet went no where near the destruction of 31 houses.
It was hard to believe that they were finally making their way up north. A rare sighting, usually only typical of Tornado Alley, transformed the Canadian winds and the skies in towns across the region suddenly began to darken.
I remember hearing my father telling me as soon as he came home about having "heard a tornado warning in effect". I looked at the tree just outside my window and saw its leaves tossing around with a fervent bristle. And, as if one window wasn't enough, I ran to my parents' room where South Korea's first Fifa game was about to start. I peered outside in time to see an old lady with her walker hustling down the street and the young lady next door about to start her run, earbuds making their way to their sanctuary. I remember thinking to myself - why? ...I hope she's a fast runner to outrun the storm... and the tornado.
As soon as the rain began to drip, it began to pour and, following that, my mom was making sure we had enough candles to survive a possible brown/blackout while my father was guaranteeing that it'd pass by quick.
Two hours. The entire length of the 1-1 Fifa match. A draw. That's how long it took. That's how quick it ended.
The next day, the air was fresh, scented with newly pummeled grass, and the sky was a clear blue. That afternoon, we rode through the aftermath of the 2-hour storm, swiveling and crying out at the realization that the cracks that were sounding out from beneath us were dozens of snails never making it to the other side. I guess the snails could have used 2 hours.

Finding out that I'd been accepted into Carleton. One of the reasons I applied to schools so far away from home was that I needed to get out of my house; knowing that at least one school wanted me meant that I could leave.
2. How did you and your first significant other get together? (If you’ve never been with anyone, tell me about the first person you fell in love with.)
We were cuddling on a couch in his basement and I asked him what we were and he was like we could be dating and I was like sure and then we were.
3. Describe your perfect day.
Bananagrams.
4. When did someone last help you when you really needed it? What did they do?
I'm a desperately ungrateful person apparently because I can't think of the last time I desperately needed help.
5. Tell me about your best friend(s).
She's pretty awesome, and even though to be perfectly honest, she hasn't been the most loyal friend, she knows her flaws and she knows her failings. I'd trust her with my life, because despite her shortcomings, if I really needed her, I know I could depend on her.
I've known him for 7 years now and I know that I can tell him anything I could ever want to say. I would go to the ends of the earth for him.
6. Do you believe in soul mates or true love?
Yes I do, but I also don't believe they are eternal or concrete. Someone may be your soul mate today but they might not be in 20 years or 20 days.
7. Name five of your favourite songs.
In no particular order:
Bloom - The Paper Kites
Headsick - July Talk
Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop - Landon Pigg
You've Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger - Beth Rowley
Say My Name/Cry Me A River - The Neighbourhood
New questions! but only 8 because lazy.
Five favourite songs/artists
What's your biggest "tell" you've got a crush on a person?
Favourite food?
When and who was the last person you cuddled?
How many hours of sleep did you get last night?
Do you believe in a higher power/deity?
Can you ever have too much bubble juice?
If you could only end one world problem (including but not limited to: poverty, education, hunger, war, etc) which would you end and why?
