Dermont learning about Wade form other people

I'm thinking more about Dermont and how many funny things you can do with him
Poor guy has no idea who the hell he's dealing with and who exactly Vanessa's friends with or who her Ex is. You know that man finds out in the most unfortunate way
He's just your normal guy™
Which makes him an anomaly
Vanessa loves the normalness and the others respect that I mean honestly at some point you do just need a break from the insanity. But alas eventually he has to learn of everything else.
It starts off small. One-off comments from Vanessa that has him scratching his head. From there Russel coming to hang out with them because he wants to get out of the mansion. (Vanessa and Wade all but adopted him after the Cable ordeal)
And well yes it's slightly weird that this random kid is hanging out here Vanessa obviously cares about him so he doesn't really care.
But it doesn't stop there. Oh no no no, Blade saves her ass one night and is thusly introduced to Dermont. The poor guy is beyond lost because what?
From there is member after member until final he meets Wade and Logan
SC: And what confuses him more is that he's hearing two different stories:
Vanessa saying. "Oh Wade is a really nice guy, he's very caring and sweet."
Blade saying "First time we met he called me retarded."
Me:
The whole time every new member he meets he gets conflicting stories.
Cable: Fucking obnoxious jabbering asshole
Domino: I don't know I think he's funny
Weasel: I'd say he's my best friend but we'd probably kill each other we never had the chance
Neg: Reluctantly he's not that bad of a guy
Yukio: Oh Wade's great
Needless to say that Dermont had no idea what to think of Wade. Any idea of meeting him felt more and more horrifying.
And the way they spoke of his partner Logan was even more bizarre. They seem hesitant to say the least like they were speaking of a ghost. The others seemed reluctantly okay or annoyed with him.
SC :
Yes! Some talk about him as if he's a living myth-
Russel: Wade told me he help stopped professor Xavier twin sister by just holding hands- what the fuck does that even mean? Power of friendship or some shit?
Laura: His not always the greatest guy, but he'll stand up for what's right when the time comes.
Me:
I mean seriously what exactly is he supposed to think? Obviously Vanessa must have seen something in Wade so he can't be all that bad but.... The stories try paint a different picture
It's also a shock to the system to see just how many different people Vanessa's friends with. These people who have nothing in common besides apparently Wade.
Vanessa doesn't even try to explain it says that she honestly can't that Wade is just magnetic like that. You can never really shake him once he lashes on.
Logan is just the latest victim.
And according to all their friends the man couldn't see happier about it. Supposedly Logan was a lot like Wade and with that came a lot of fights but also a better understanding each other. Apparently they were inseparable.
It seems they're friends all declared them both insane and perfect for one another. Which was more unsettling the more he got to know their friends.
I imagine the first time he meets them Wade has a knife in Logan's shoulder and Logan had his fangs sunk into Wade's neck.
